Online Course Terms and Agreement
This agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Alternative Roots LLC ("Alternative Roots"), its owners, affiliates, and the enrolled participant ("Participant") of the online course ("Course"). By enrolling in the Course, the Participant agrees to the following terms and conditions:
1. Course Content and Copyright:
a. The Course content, including but not limited to video lectures, written materials, quizzes, assignments, and any other accompanying materials, are the intellectual property of Alternative Roots LLC and are protected by copyright laws.
b. The Participant agrees not to reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works based on the Course content without prior written consent from Alternative Roots LLC.
c. Any approved distribution of Course materials must adhere to the terms set forth by Alternative Roots LLC and must be conducted through Alternative Roots' approved methods or affiliate programs.
2. Liability and Disclaimer:
a. Alternative Roots LLC, its owners, affiliates, and instructors shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with the Participant's use of the Course materials or information provided within the Course.
b. The Participant agrees that they are solely responsible for their actions and decisions based on the information presented in the Course. Alternative Roots LLC does not guarantee any specific results from the Course, and individual outcomes may vary.
c. The Course content is provided for educational and informational purposes only and is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial advice. The Participant should consult with appropriate professionals before implementing any strategies or techniques learned in the Course.
3. Indemnification:
The Participant agrees to indemnify and hold Alternative Roots LLC, its owners, affiliates, and instructors harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to the Participant's use of the Course materials or violation of this Agreement.
4. Modification of Terms:
Alternative Roots LLC reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. The Participant is responsible for reviewing these terms periodically for any changes.
5. Governing Law:
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law principles.
By enrolling in the Course or purchasing/viewing the Course content, the Participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If the Participant does not agree with any part of this Agreement, they should not enroll in the Course or view/purchase the Course content.
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Participant and Alternative Roots LLC regarding the Course and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter herein.
